Ronald L Snowden Park
History
The park was named on July 24, 1967 in honor of Ronald L. Snowden (November 4, 1953 - August 30, 1964), a young man who devoted his short life to recreational activities in the city, particularly with youth baseball, and exemplified the highest standard of citizenship and sportsmanship.
The park was completely refurbished in 2016 and a ribbon cutting was held to re-open the park. Details about the park's rehabilitation can be found at this link.

Park amenities include:
- 2 lighted baseball fields:
- North - youth league size field: Left 200 feet, Center 245 feet, Right 200 feet
- South- senior league size field: Left 285 feet, Center 350 feet, Right 300 feet

- 1 lighted basketball court
- 3 picnic pavilions
- Playground
- Swings
- Restrooms
- 0.4 mile lighted paved walking trail loop with a 0.2 mile paved trail connector to Grant Street and the Dr. Hal and Lynn Brewer Park and its 0.5 mile trail.
