Fire Rescue
OVERVIEW
The Plant City Fire Rescue Department is a career department consisting of 55 total personnel covering a response area of 28 square miles. The department currently operates out of three fire stations. The members of our department strive to provide an exceptional level of service to the citizens we serve.
UNITS AND RESPONSE
We currently respond to emergency incidents with two ALS (Advanced Life Support) engines and one ALS ladder (77-foot aerial) truck, two ALS rescues (ambulance), and one battalion chief vehicle.
RATING
In January 2019, the City improved its Insurance Service Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification Rating from a Class 5 up to a Class 4.
