Plant City Planning Board:
The deadline to accept applications for consideration of appointment to the Planning Board has been extended until Noon on January 22, 2025. Members serve three-year terms and serve without compensation. Currently there are no city limit residency restrictions to apply or serve on this board. Code Enforcement Board:
The City of Plant City is currently accepting applications for our Code Enforcement board for consideration of appointment until Noon on March 14, 2025. We are also accepting applications for 2nd Alternate Board Member. Currently the alternate position is open until filled. It is the alternate's responsibility to serve in the absence of a regular board member. Board Members serve three-year terms and serve without compensation. Hillsborough County Building Board of Adjustment, Appeals & Examiners - Plant City Representative:
The City of Plant City is currently recruiting to fill a position on the Hillsborough County Building Board of Adjustment, Appeals and Examiners. Applicants must be either a Florida registered professional engineer qualified to work in the area of structural engineering or has extensive knowledge and experience in the building trades such as concrete, masonry, steel, and wood framing. Appointments are voluntary and members serve without compensation. All interested parties should complete and return the Board Application to the City Clerk's office.
