• Construction of our new Sadye Gibbs Martin Community Center started in May 2019 and the facility was dedicated on August 13, 2020.  Doors opened for business on August 17, 2020. 
• The new building replaces the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center which was originally built at the same location in 1960 with an addition built 1987.
• Geared toward special interest classes and out-of-school time youth programs
• 30,000 square foot multipurpose building with a two full-size basketball court gymnasium, meeting rooms, craft room, activity room with computer lab, and a kitchen facility
• Situated on the 18.5558 acre Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Complex which also contains 2 lighted small baseball fields and 1 lighted large baseball field
• Available for rental (pending scheduled activities) for private functions.  Contact the Sadye Gibbs Martin Community Center directly for availability and fees.
