Public Input Meeting - New Community Park

The City of Plant City will conduct a public input meeting on April 27, 2023, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the City Commission Chambers, City Hall 1st Floor, 302 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida, to consider the following:

The City of Plant City is developing the city-owned site at 502 East Young Street into a new community park that will provide a splash pad, playground, skate park, restrooms, and outdoor fitness equipment. Also included are picnic shelters, landscaped walking trails with benches, a pond with fountain, two paved parking lots and sidewalks.  A public meeting is planned for the sole purpose of gaining public input as part of the planning process.

We encourage all residents to come and voice their opinions!

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which records included the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
