1.    Meeting called to order by Mayor Nathan A. Kilton.

2.   Invocation by Pastor Bill Kruppa, Emmaus Baptist Church followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

3.  Recognitions:

  • 23-142  Presentation of a proclamation recognizing April 9-15, 2023, as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

4.   Public Comments:  Excluding any matter which is (a) scheduled for any legislative public hearing on this agenda; or (b) the subject of any quasi-judicial hearing scheduled or to be scheduled before the City Commission.

 

5.   Consent Agenda:  Items listed on the consent agenda are considered routine and will be adopted by one motion. The City Commission does not discuss the items on the consent agenda unless discussion is requested by a member of the Commission, City Manager or City Attorney. If so requested, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered separately.

  • 23-170  Resolution approving minutes of Regular Meeting held March 27, 2023.
     
  • 23-172  Resolution approving the installation of the Return Activated Sludge Pumps a the Water Reclamation Facility.
  • 23-174  Resolution setting quasi-judicial public hearing for a final plat entitled Terrace at Walden Lake. (PB-2022-31)
  • 23-175  Resolution setting quasi-judicial public hearing for a final plat entitled Sage Lakeside Logistics Center. (PB-2022-38)

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICAN DISABILITIES ACT, ANY PERSON WITH A DISABILITY REQUIRING REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS MEETING SHOULD CALL THE  CITY CLERK AT (813) 659-4200 AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE  MEETING.

Any invocation that may be offered at the beginning of the City Commission meeting shall be the voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the City Commission. The views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the City Commission and do not necessarily represent the religious beliefs or views of the City Commission in part or as a whole. No one is required to attend or participate in the invocation and such decision will have no impact on their right to participate actively in the business of the City Commission. Copies of the policy governing invocations and setting forth the procedure to have a volunteer deliver an invocation are available upon written request submitted to the City Clerk.
