Streets & Stormwater Construction Introduction
The Streets and Stormwater Construction Crews each consist of 9 employees working to keep our approximately 150 lane miles of roadways properly maintained to assure safe vehicular travel. On top of that, they also perform maintenance on our stormwater infrastructure and sidewalks
Examples of their duties are:
- Pothole and utility cut patching with both hot and cold mix
- Ditch digging
- Assisting CSX with railroad repairs
- Road shoulder maintenance
- Storm pipe installations
- Storm pipe maintenance
