Rights-of-Way
Introduction
Our Right-of-Way Crew is composed of 10 employees. They mow, weed eat, edge and pick up trash and debris from 197.6 acres of rights-of-way and City-owned properties. Properties maintained total 73.
In addition to these areas, they also clean trash and debris from 897 catch basins. A catch basin is a reservoir that retains sediment and medium to large debris that enters a stormwater inlet. It aids in the prevention of potentially troublesome debris and pollutants from entering our water ways. Our catch basins are checked and cleaned monthly or as needed depending on our storm season.
