Plant City Community Redevelopment Incentive Grant Guidelines

The City of Plant City Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is committed to revitalizing the Community Redevelopment Area by eliminating slum and blight in accordance with the Florida Community Redevelopment Act of 1969 and Chapter 163, Part III of the Florida Statutes. As part of this initiative, the CRA has developed financial incentives designed to achieve key goals outlined in the Community Redevelopment Plan, focusing on enhancing both residential livability and commercial viability within the district.

Funding decisions for these incentives are carefully guided by Florida Statutes, the adopted Community Redevelopment Plan, the strategic objectives set forth by the CRA Board, and the available tax increment revenues allocated within the annual budget.

Grants are processed on a first-qualified, first-awarded basis, subject to the availability of funds within the current fiscal year.
