PUBLIC NOTICE

 

RESOLUTION NO. 192-2024

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLANT CITY, FLORIDA, RESCHEDULING THE FIRST REGULAR CITY COMMISSION MEETING FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, 2024 to OCTOBER 7, 2024.

               Whereas, the first regular meeting for the month of October, 2024 is currently scheduled for October 14, 2024; and

               Whereas, in accordance with Section 2-34(d), Plant City Code, the City Commission may, by resolution, reschedule any regular meeting of the City Commission; and

               Whereas, the City Commission desires to change the date of the first regular meeting for the month of October, 2024 to October 7, 2024; now, therefore,

               BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLANT CITY, FLORIDA:

               Section 1.   The regular City Commission meeting currently scheduled for October 14, 2024 is hereby rescheduled to October 7, 2024. Accordingly, the City Commission meeting shall be held at the City Commission Chambers of the Nettie Berry Draughon Municipal Building, 302 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida at October 7, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.

               Section 2.  The City Clerk is hereby directed to post a copy of this resolution at the bulletin board at city hall.

               Section 3.  All persons are advised that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

               Section 4.  In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person with a disability requiring reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this meeting should call the City Clerk at (813) 659-4200 at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing.
