NOTICE OF CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING

 

Notice is hereby given that the Plant City Planning Board held a special meeting on February 9, 2022, to conduct a public hearing regarding a request for a Major Modification to the Walden Lake Planned Development District (PB-2020-17).

Due to time constraints, the hearing has been continued and will take place on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at the HCC Trinkle Center, located at 1206 North Park Road, Plant City, Florida, to which all interested persons are invited.   On this date, the Planning Board will resume the public hearing where it left off on February 9th with public testimony, rebuttal, board questions, deliberations and any other business which may come before the Planning Board.

 

SPEAKING LIMITATIONS:  At the public hearing, all public speakers shall be limited to three (3) minutes. In the event speaker(s) request additional time the determination of the amount of time to be allowed shall be at the discretion of the Chair.

Interested persons wishing to utilize an electronic presentation (i.e. PowerPoint) at these proceedings must provide the City Clerk a computer file of such at least two business days prior to the aforementioned public hearing date.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning Board and the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which records included the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
