Planning Board Meeting

The Planning Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at  City Hall - City Commission Chambers on 1st Floor, 302 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563 

Please Note this meeting will be held in-person only and will not be streamed. 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Plant City Planning Board will hold a Public Meeting at the City Commission Chambers, Nettie Berry Draughon Municipal Building, 302 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida 33563, to which all interested persons are invited, at 8:30 am on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.  

OCCUPANCY LIMITATIONS:

Physical attendance to this meeting is strictly limited to seating available based upon COVID-19 precautions and social distancing guidelines.  Public seating will be on a first available or as available basis.  

PLEASE ALSO BE ADVISED that to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to aid in the response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, all persons attending the public meeting will be required to sign in, to answer questions regarding potential exposure to COVID-19 within the past 14 days, to submit to temperature screening, and shall either wear face coverings or other cloth or material covering the nose and mouth, or to comply with all social distancing guidelines. Violations of these requirements may also result in removal from the meeting. Any person found to have a temperature of 100.4° or higher will be asked to leave. 

PUBLIC COMMENTS:

Public comments can be made in person during the public comments portion of the meeting.  All public comments must be germane to matters within the authority of the Planning Board and do not include matters which are subject of any Quasi-Judicial hearing scheduled or to be scheduled before the Planning Board.

ALL PERSONS ARE ADVISED THAT IF A PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE PLANNING BOARD WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT SUCH MEETING, HE OR SHE WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE HE OR SHE MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICAN DISABILITIES ACT, ANY PERSON WITH A DISABILITY REQUIRING REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS MEETING SHOULD CALL THE CITY CLERK AT (813) 659-4200 AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE MEETING.
