Library Cards

If your library card is stolen or lost please, notify the library immediately at 813-757-9215.

County Residents
Any Hillsborough County resident may become a member of the Bruton Memorial Library. The library card can be used at any Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative location. Adults must present a current photo I.D. card such as a driver's license or state identification card that has a current address. If the photo I.D. card lacks a current address a utility bill, a piece of 1st class mail or other official items can be used to verify your address.

Children and teens under 17 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present to obtain a card.

Not a Resident of Hillsborough County
People who are not residents of Hillsborough County must pay a yearly non-resident card fee of $100 to receive all circulation services (except interlibrary loan). Non-residents of surrounding counties may receive restricted services by producing their home city/county library card. Non-residents have the same identification requirements as residents. Temporary residents may ask for more information.
