Master Gardener

Master Gardener is a program provided by the Hillsborough County Extension office. The goal of the Master Gardener Program is to provide comprehensive training on different gardening topics so that Master Gardeners Volunteers can serve as an “Extension” of the University of Florida/Hillsborough County Extension Service and share that information with Hillsborough County residents.

Master Gardener programs usually occur on the 2nd Monday of the month. The program takes a break in December and over the summer. It is followed by a plant exchange, so remember to bring a plant from your own garden to share!
