Learn about growing, harvesting, and using herbs grown in the Florida garden. The talk will provide an overview on the plants, their care and cultural needs, along with instruction on how to harvest and cure herbs for culinary and other uses. Participants are invited to bring a plant for the plant exchange afterwards!

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
Sign up for assistance begins at 10:00 AM and continues until the 25 available slots for that day are filled. Customers desiring assistance should review this list of recommended documents to bring to work with tax prep volunteers. This program is offered in cooperation with the Free Tax Preparation Program of Hillsborough County and coordinated through the United Way Suncoast.
