Cafeteria Plan

The City provides a wide range of benefit options through its Cafeteria Plan. The City contributes:
  • $602 per month, if health insurance is waived or if single health coverage is elected
  • $710 if employee plus spouse health insurance is elected
  • $725 if employee plus children is elected
  • $803 if the family level of health insurance is elected

Health Plan

The health plan is through United Healthcare. Insurance choices include the following:
Up to $90 of the City’s contribution can be taken as a cash benefit. Employees who are scheduled to work 30 or more hours can start insurance coverage on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Below are links for additional benefit information on:
